About me

I have worked in performing arts and higher education for the last 25 years, designing and delivering curricula, leading teams of people and directing programmes in Drama, Theatre, Contemporary Arts Practice and Performance.

I currently work as a Principal Lecturer in the School of Film, Music and Performing Arts at Leeds Beckett University.

In addition to my own pedagogic practice, I also make and direct theatre performances, perform, write and regularly contribute to debates on arts education.

I have a keen interest in improving performance for people from all walks of life and work as  both a professional mentor and qualified coach.

I am also a fully certified Feldenkrais  Practitioner, and offer Awareness through Movement classes and Functional Integration.

‘Essentially, across all the work I do, I’m interested in developing creative environments and practices in which people can learn to fulfill their innate potential and become healthier and happier as a result.’
